Student Buckaroos, saddle up your ponies and hightail it to Camp Whowhatawanta this summer where you’ll wrangle writing mysteries and reading adventures. During our trail-blazing explorations, we’ll:

  • Lasso tactics needed for book reports and response-to-literature compositions

  • Homestead the informative paragraph

  • Arrowhead writing techniques that stylize compositions

  • Saddle up to the summary, an article or story reduction made of the most potent ingredients

Please Note: Students will be using the Whowhatawanta Mining Method when locating summary ingredients:

  • WHO are the characters?

  • WHAT is a story’s problem or goal?

  • What does an author WANT US to believe?

In Dude-Ranch Lingo: We’re grub-slinging up a vittle-pot of experiences, lessons filled with cow-sense activities that are as fine as cream gravy! In City-Slicker Lingo: We’re inventing many quality learning experiences.
